Local Training.
Real Impact.

As a paramedic, I have seen how much training, preparation and confidence matter when someone faces an emergency. As a leader and program developer, I have seen how the right training can change someone’s future.
I have also seen how hard it can be to find steady, affordable training, especially in smaller and remote communities. That is why I started Northern Strategies Inc.
A young person learning to stay home safely, a teenager getting ready to babysit, a parent learning to save a life, someone starting a career in emergency services: every course matters. Sometimes the best part is watching someone who came in nervous leave feeling capable and proud of themselves.
Brittany Elliott, founder and owner
Brittany Elliott is a paramedic and leader based in Labrador. Along with 15 years as a paramedic, she has worked in healthcare, management, human resources and program development.
She has led teams, run large programs and managed multimillion-dollar budgets. She has worked closely with Indigenous communities and with children and families across Labrador, and she knows good services start with listening to the people they serve.
She incorporated Northern Strategies Inc. in 2024 to bring first aid, emergency response, youth safety and workplace training closer to home. She also helps employers work out which training their teams need.
Classes follow St. John Ambulance course rules, and people who pass get St. John Ambulance certification. Northern Strategies is fully insured and in good standing with WorkplaceNL.
Outside of work, Brittany is a mother of two and a community volunteer who supports local youth activities.
