Frequently asked questions

How do I register?

When registration is open, the Register button takes you to the booking page. Choose a date and pay by card there. Courses without a booking link have an interest list or enquiry button instead.

What if the class is full?

Join the waitlist on the booking page. If the course does not have a booking link yet, join the interest list here and we will contact you when a class is set.

Can I book for several people?

Yes. You can book several seats in one booking. For a private class for your group, use the team training form.

Do I need anything before I take a course?

Some courses have an age limit or need an earlier certificate. Check the facts for your course. Contact us if you are not sure which CPR level your job or school needs.

What is your cancellation policy?

There is no fee to withdraw more than 5 business days before a one-day or two-day class. Withdrawing 2 to 5 business days before costs $40 plus tax. The full fee applies under 2 business days or if you do not attend. A transfer within 5 business days of the start costs $25 plus tax. If Northern Strategies cancels, you can move to another date at no charge.

What should I bring?

Contact us before your class and we will tell you what you need for your course.

How long is my certificate good for?

St. John Ambulance first aid certificates are valid for 3 years. Marine first aid certificates are valid for 5 years.

Do you travel?

Yes. Brittany travels anywhere in Labrador for private and on-site training. Contact us to talk about dates and location.

Can my workplace book a private class?

Yes. Use the team training form and tell us the course, number of people, preferred dates and location. Amanda or Brittany will reply to confirm the details and price.

Can you arrange an interpreter?

Yes. Ask when you book so an interpreter can be arranged for the class.
